Yes, he's hungry.
Yes, I'm going to BREASTFEED him.
Yes, I know we're in a public place.
Yes, I know my rights, so don't you dare tell me to stop.
Yes, I can tell you're uncomfortable.
Do I care that this bothers you? No.
Am I at all embarrassed to feed him with you staring at me? No.
Will your staring make me stop sooner? No.
Grow up, get educated, find some manners, & get over it. I have remained covered the enitre time. I am NOT trying to show you my breasts. I am FEEDING my BABY, & you're NOT going to stop me.

Great post!! Along with blogging I work for my state's breastfeeding coalition and we are constantly dealing with this issue.
Found you from Hop a Little Tuesday
Kuddos to you for not letting it get to you! I could never nurse in public b/c my little guy would thrash around like a mad man. So frustrating.
Thanks for visiting my site - returning the follow! (sorry it took a couple of days!)
And if you get a moment, can you help a blogger out & vote for me as Blog of the Month here? Tx!

Your blog made me smile! My husband and I adopted, so I do not have the staring because of breastfeeding, but they do stare because we are a transracial family. Stopping by from FTLOB. My website is: http://christinaburchette.blogspot.com/

I love it, so happy that you have been able to continue to BF and glad that you don't let stupid people get to you!!
AGREEEEED! Ugh, some people are so rude! I thought I would be over the staring once my son was weaned at 17 months, but now I get dirty looks all of the time due to his Autism. It drives me up the wall!!! People are so tasteless!
I'm a new follower, find me @ Modernmomredefined.blogspot.com =)
